Creating a connected view of sales, purchasing and finance
Haldiram Hospitality UK Limited is planning a phased Zoho Books implementation alongside its Restroworks (POSIST) point-of-sale environment. The solution is designed for a restaurant and showroom operation in London, with finance processes structured around daily sales, collections, purchasing, assets and reporting.
The solution design
Phase one focuses on core finance configuration and the standard sales integration. The following phase extends the design to back-of-house purchasing, clearing-account workflows, fixed assets and reporting enhancements without disrupting live operations.
Zoho Books foundation
UK finance setup, chart of accounts, tax configuration, user roles, master data and opening balances.
Sales and collections
Standard POSIST connection for consolidated daily posting and validation of sales and collection flows.
Procurement workflow
Purchase orders, goods-receipt-to-purchase-receive flow, returns and direct procurement cycles in Zoho.
Location-wise reporting
Restaurant and showroom cost centres designed to support location-level P&L visibility and core ageing reports.
Banking and VAT
Bank-feed or statement-import processes, matching rules and VAT configuration with a planned validation cycle.
Assets and controls
Asset register, depreciation configuration and controlled accounting treatment aligned with client approval processes.
Delivery approach
The work is organized as a phased rollout: core finance and sales posting are prioritized first, while the extended procurement and reporting scope follows through structured testing and closure. User acceptance testing, day-close validation, training and hypercare are built into the plan to support adoption.
